Salisbury Warship class ºD814 Dragon just west of Salisbury (Bishopdown) tunnel on 11th October 1969. A new ring road has been built which is very obvious if you compare this photograph with the previous one of 73065 at the same spot.

Salisbury The ex-GWR route was closed during November 1973 and was reduced to sidings at each end. At the Salisbury end this gave access to the ex-GWR yard, now remodelled as the Salisbury DMU depot. At the Wilton end the siding gave access to these chalk works at Quidhampton, as seen on 16th March 1974.
