Connex SouthCentral started a service which ran hourly from
Brighton to Rugby via Northampton using Class
319 units.
At the last major timetable reshuffle this was cut back to an East Croydon - Milton Keynes Central service, with the early morning trains now starting from Clapham Junction, and for the rest of the day the East Croydon - Clapham Junction section is now a stopping one (line capacity constraints apparently). The Southern had the class 377/2 units built for this service, but for some months they borrowed class 350 units from London Midland for the service, as seen here. |
