Class 170 N°170206 of Anglia Railways waits at Basingstoke for 12:32 p.m. and its departure for Chelmsford on a rainy Monday, 18th September 2000. Class 47 N°47849 Cadeirlan Bangor Cathedral, named and repainted since January, 2000 forms the 12:26 p.m .service to Bournemouth, "The Pines Express", which was the 8:17 a.m. departure from Manchester.
