    This was one of the SECR type goods brake vans that were altered in the 1970s to provide riding accommodation for PW staff. One of the verandahs has been enclosed to make it part of the van's body and vacuum brake fitted. Photographed at East Croydon 1980s, this van is marked to travel with crane 1723.
