The old Ropley 'B' Signalbox, both seen in September 2003. This box was originally in use at Netley. The iron beam is part of the framework for a new wheel-drop shed being constructed.

Ropley 'B'

Ropley Plain Ropley Signalbox photographed on 16th July 2008 after the de-commissioning of the 'A' box. Compare with the above image and note that the new wheel-drop shed has now been built very close to the back of the box - you can see there's a recess in the wall in order to miss the back of the box!

The frame now used in the box came from Barnstaple Junction 'A' box. This photo shows the ex-Barnstaple Junction frame installed in the ex-Netley box.
